Air pressure sensor provides T407269 information to the electronic control unit, to adjust the fuelling and manage the engine performance, using pressure to calculate air density and flow. By managing the fuel being injected, to prevent under or over fuelling which can create higher emissions. Failing air flow sensors can cause rough running, hesitation while accelerating, or surging while cruising.
